Schedule and Format
The Concacaf qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 will begin on March 18, 2024, with 32 participating nations. The qualifying process will consist of three rounds:
- First Round: Four teams ranked lowest will compete in two-leg ties, with the winners advancing to the Second Round.
- Second Round: The 12 remaining teams will be divided into two groups of six and play home-and-away matches over four matchdays.
- Final Round: The top three teams from each group will qualify for the FIFA World Cup 2026.
